Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi meet & assistance at the airport. Later transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Delhi

Day 02: Delhi

After breakfast, take a half-day city tour of Old Delhi. Visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort built by Shah Jahan. Also visit Chandni Chowk, the street of the silversmiths, and Rajghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In the afternoon, take a city tour of New Delhi. Visit Humayun’s Tomb: built in the mid-16th century, this is an early example of Mughal architecture; the Qutab Minar; India Gate, the President’s Mansion, Connaught Place.

Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa

Today drive to Mandawa: a compact little town in the Shekhavati region, Arrive and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis (old mansions) with beautiful frescoes. The medieval fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner

In the morning drive to Nawalgarh – the town where the finest of the Shekhavati frescoes can be seen. Its havelis still bear witness to the rich and prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli and Chokhani haveli. Drive to Bikaner – Vale of Serenity, upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening free to relax. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Bikaner

Today enjoy city tour covering Junagadh Fort – constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions and two entrances, Bhand Sagar Temple – The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm – a unique experience where you can ride on a camel and have perhaps the first taste of camel’s milk. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Bikaner – Jaisalmer

In the morning drive to Jaisalmer – The Citadel City, Arrive and check into the hotel. Afternoon free to relax or enjoy the city atmosphere. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Jaisalmer

Enjoy a city tour covering Jaisalmer Fort – built on the highest point of the Trikuta hill. See the Sun Gate, Megh Durbar and temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli and Patwon-Ki-Haveli – some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and lattice work of breathtaking intricacy, Lodurva – A masterpiece of architectural grandeur. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Jaisalmer

No trip to Jaisalmer is complete without a visit to the most picturesque sand dunes at Sam. The ripples on the wind-caressed dunes create enchanting mirages. You can go out on a camel safari – getting the real feel of the desert on the camel back. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur

Today morning drive to Jodhpur – The enchanting city, arrive and check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Jodhpur

Full day city tour covering Mehrangarh fort – unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur, it is one of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately carved. Also see the Jaswan Thada, a 19th century royal cenotaph, and the Clock tower. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Jodhpur – Udaipur

In the morning drive to Udaipur. Enroute visit the Ranakpur temples – the pilgrimage centre of Rajasthan. Also see the Chaturmukh temples. Arrive and check into the hotel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Udaipur

Enjoy a city tour covering Saheliyon-Ki-Bari – The garden for the maids of honour of the queen. Jagdish Temple – dedicated to Lord Vishnu and approachable by a broad flight of steps, the shrine is a rectangular platform in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture, City Palace – located amidst Lake Pichola, Eklingji and Nagda Temples – built in white marble with a double-storeyed porch. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Udaipur – Pushkar

Drive to Pushkar – the city of Brahma. On arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Stay overnight at the hotel

Day 14: Pushkar – Jaipur

In the morning half take a city tour covering Jagat Pita Shri Brahma Temple – The only exquisite temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, Apteshwar Mahadeo Temple – Dedicated to Lord Shiva: head towards Jaipur seeing the Dargah of Sufi Saint Moinuddin Chishti, entered through a high gateway with silver doors. The grave of the saint is surrounded by a silver railing. Arrive and check into the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 15: Jaipur

In the morning take an excursion to Amer fort with joy ride on an Elephant. In the afternoon take a city tour covering City Palace – occupies a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and buildings and a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, Jantar Mantar – the royal observatory, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli the Bazaar etc. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 16: Jaipur – Agra

Morning, drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) Jama Masjid / The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai/Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal. On arrival check into the hotel. Enjoy the city atmosphere. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 17: Agra – Delhi

Morning enjoy a city tour covering the Taj Mahal – a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, Red Fort – a visit to the fort in ‘Agra’ is a must, since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here. Itmad-ud-daulah’s Tomb: this tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elements overshadow the Taj. Afternoon, drive back to Delhi. On arrival we will take you to the hotel where we will be holding rooms for you to wash and change. Have your dinner and late night transfer to the International Airport to board your flight home with sweet memories…
