Day 1 : Arrival Leh

Arrival Leh in the morning Our representative will meet, greet, assist and transfer you to Hotel in Leh. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft./ 35 00 mtrs). Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .

Day 2 : Leh local sightseeing

After breakfast visit Shey Palace & Stok Palace Museum. Post lunch at the hotel, visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa & Leh Palace and then explore the local markets. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .

Day 3 : Leh – Pangong Lake (150 Kms.)

Early departure for Pangong Lake (approx. 145 Kms, located on the Indo China Border), via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 Kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 : Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey-Leh (165 Kms.)

After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .

Day 5 : Leh-Nubra Valley

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft.). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for dinner and overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.

Day 6 : Nubra Valley-Leh

In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 : Leh-Lamayuru-Uleytoko

In the morning drive down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru (approx. 130 Kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining ‘Moonland’ features. After sightseeing and lunch here, retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo (60 Kms.) and check into a fixed camp / resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 : Uleytoko – Leh

After breakfast drive towards Leh, enroute visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh– a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .

Day 9 : Leh-Tsomoriri / Korzok (15070 ft. / 220 Kms.)

Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House.

Day 10 : Tsomoriri-Tsokar-Taglangla-Leh (17582 ft.)-Leh-approx. 200 Kms) :

After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight .

Day 11 : Departure Leh

Leave on time for Leh airport to board your flight back home
