Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi. Meet & greet by our representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Stay overnight at Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Lucknow

After breakfast, you would be transferred to airport to board the flight to Lucknow. Upon arrival, you will be driven to Sravasti. Upon arrival check-in at a hotel. Stay overnight in Sravasti.

Day 03: Sravasti – Lumbini

After breakfast, explore Sravasti including Jetavana monastery on the outskirts of the town. Visit Sahet Mahet and Angulimal caves. In the afternoon; drive to Lumbini. Upon arrival; check in at a hotel. Stay overnight in Lumbini.

Day 04: Lumbini – Kushinagar

After breakfast, visit Lumbini. It has a number of temples, including the Mayadevi temple and the Ashokan Pillar. South of the Ashokan Pillar, is the famous holy pool Puskarnia believed to be the pool in which Maya Devi took a holy dip just before giving birth to the Lord and also where infant Buddha was given his first purification bath. Later, drive to Kushinagar. It is named after the sacred death-place of Lord Buddha. Here, Lord Buddha, an apostle of peace, compassion and non-violence, attained Salvation in 483 BC. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel and later visit the main site in Kushinagar. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.

Day 05: Kushinagar – Vaishali – Patna

After breakfast, drive to Patna en-route visiting Vaishali- Buddha first visited Vaishali in the fifth year after his Enlightenment and spent the rainy season here. It is where Gautama Buddha delivered his last sermon and announced his Parinirvana. Visit Ananda Stupa and Asokan pillar at Kolhua, Vaishali. Drive to Patna. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Stay overnight at Patna.

Day 06: Patna – Rajgir/Nalanda – Bodhgaya

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Bodhgaya visiting Rajgir and Nalanda. It was the first capital of the kingdom of Magadha, a state that would eventually evolve into the Mauryan Empire. Its date of origin is unknown, although ceramics dating to about 1000 BC have been found in the city.
Later visit Griddhkuta. Gautama Buddha spent several months meditating, and preaching at Griddhkuta,
Further, drive to Nalanda. Here you can visit the ruins of the oldest known university of the world. The excavations undertaken at the site have unearthed a huge complex of a University founded and patronized by the Gupta emperors. Drive continues to Bodhgaya. Upon arrival check in at a hotel. Overnight stay in Bodhgaya.

Day 07: Bodhgaya

Morning after breakfast tour of Bodhgaya – As the place of the Buddha’s Enlightenment, Bodhgaya is the spiritual home of Buddhists. Bodhgaya situated near the river Niranjana, is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centres since it was here that Buddha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Later proceed for the sightseeing including Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village, and Monasteries of different countries around the city. Stay overnight at Bodhgaya.

Day 08:Bodhgaya – Varanasi

Morning after breakfast drive to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi & check in at the hotel. Free time at leisure. Stay overnight at Varanasi.

Day 09:Varanasi

Early morning boat cruise on river Ganges. Thousands of pilgrims throng the water’s edge, bathing, worshipping, meditating. On stone platforms under palm leaf umbrellas, the Pandas-Brahmin priests preside over rites and rituals. The boat trip will cover various ghats including the cremation sites. Because every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi (Varanasi)and to be cremated on the banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death. Afternoon visit Sarnath Sarnath, 7 km from the city where Buddha preached his first sermon more than 2500 years ago. Stay overnight at Varanasi hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi – Delhi

After breakfast get transferred to airport to board your domestic flight to Delhi. Arrive at Delhi. Meet & greet by our representative at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Visit to “kingdom of Dreams” – A There Park. Enjoy the live bollywood musical show there. In the evening return back to Delhi. Stay overnight at the hotel

Day 11: Delhi – Departure

Morning after breakfast tour Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad. Visit Jama Masjid, Later walk down through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, Later in afternoon, check out from the hotel and transfer to international airport to board flight for onward destination with sweet memories…
