Today drive to Mandawa: a compact little town in the Shekhavati region, Arrive and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis (old mansions) with beautiful frescoes. The medieval fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Stay overnight at hotel.

In the morning drive to Nawalgarh – the town where the finest of the Shekhavati frescoes can be seen. Its havelis still bear witness to the rich and prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. Worth visiting are the Aath Haveli complex, Anandilal Poddar haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli and Chokhani haveli. Drive to Bikaner – Vale of Serenity, upon arrival check into the hotel. Morning enjoy a city tour covering the Taj Mahal – a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, Red Fort – a visit to the fort in ‘Agra’ is a must, since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here. Itmad-ud-daulah’s Tomb: this tomb is of particular interest since many of its design elements overshadow the Taj. Afternoon, drive back to Delhi. On arrival we will take you to the hotel where we will be holding rooms for you to wash and change.
