Day by Day Experience

New Delhi to Mandawa

March 12 • Hotel Mandawa Vilas or Similar

On arrival you will met by host Atik at the airport. We will drive to Mandawa, a compact little town in the Shekhawati region. Check into the hotel. In the afternoon we will visit Havelies with beautiful frescoes and later visit the local market.

Mandawa to Bikaner

March 13 • Hotel Laxmi Niwas Palace or Similar

Explore Junagarh Fort, BhandShah Jain Temple, Rampuriya Havelis, and the colourful local market. Meet the famous man with the longest moustache in Rajasthan.

Bikaner to Jaisalmer

March 14 • Hotel Mandir Palace or Similar

Drive through Rajasthan landscapes to Jaisalmer — the Golden City. Photograph ancient havelis, colourful markets, gypsies, holy men, and sunset scenes around the fort.

Jaisalmer & Thar Desert

March 15 • Luxury Desert Camp

Sunrise photography at Gadsisar Lake followed by a drive to the Thar Desert. Photograph Sufi musicians, desert villages, dancers, camel caravans, and sunset over the dunes.

Thar Desert to Jodhpur

March 16 • Hotel Ajit Bhawan or Similar

Early morning camel photography in the dunes with Raika camel herders. Continue to Jodhpur and explore the famous blue lanes and old city streets during golden evening light.

Jodhpur to Ranakpur

March 17 • Hotel Fatehbagh or Similar

Visit traditional pottery villages and the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temple. Evening photography with Rabari shepherd families and sunset farmland scenes.

Ranakpur to Udaipur

March 18 • Hotel Lake Pichola or Similar

Scenic countryside drive with village stops before arriving in Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Sunset photography over Lake Pichola and the City Palace.

Udaipur

March 19

Visit vibrant wholesale markets, Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Eklingji Temple, Nagda Temple, and enjoy a beautiful boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Udaipur to Pachewar

March 20 • Hotel Pachewar Fort

Experience rural Rajasthan villages, artisans, cenotaphs, traditional oil extraction, and witness the Holi-ka Dahan ceremony.

Pachewar to Jaipur – Holi Festival

March 21 • Traditional Haveli

Celebrate the colourful Holi Festival with villagers and children, then continue to Jaipur for private Holi celebrations, temple visits, folk dance, and music performances.

Jaipur

March 22

Explore Jal Mahal, Amer Fort, City Palace, Govind Dev Ji Temple, and the iconic Hawa Mahal while capturing Jaipur’s royal heritage.

Jaipur to Agra

March 23 • Hotel Grand Mercure or Similar

Visit Agra Fort and enjoy sunset photography of the Taj Mahal from the Yamuna river side.

Agra to New Delhi

March 24

Sunrise photography at the Taj Mahal followed by transfer to New Delhi airport for your onward journey home.
